Last night I joined other NYU students to join the protest in Rabin Square. The protests were being held all over Israel but the one in Tel Aviv was the biggest with over 300,000 people. It was an incredible experience. Of course, I wished my hebrew was better so that I could understand all the speeches but even without an exact translation I got the gist (my limited hebrew actually helped a ton since I was able to pick out words/phrases like "our children" "healthcare" "three apartments" and "the new Israel")

Here are some pictures I took at the protest. With the massive amounts of people, the weird lighting, and general chaos it was hard to get good pictures but here are a few that I find acceptable.

I just wanted to get these up because my schedule has been crazy this week. If you want more info or something you can email me.

Here's a link to an article about it.
