Hello!
Let me start by explaining why I'm starting a blog-- I'm going to try to keep a blog and post regularly this semester while I am abroad so that I can keep track of my memories and post pictures for those who would like to see what I'm up to. I'll try to post mostly pictures each entry so that it will be more fun and quicker to look at, but I might also include some stories (if there are any to tell). This picture, below, is of me and my sister, Annie. You can pretty much ignore it but I wanted to see how pictures turn out in the posts.
In two days and about 6 hours I'm going to get on a flight to Tel Aviv, Israel where I will be spending the fall semester. But before I settle down in Tel Aviv I'm going to Istanbul, Turkey with a friend. I'm currently in a nervous-excited stage, but I know that as these two days pass the nervous will slowly creep into the excitement (that is until I am 100% packed and passed security at the airport).
Well, I don't want to write too much in each post and I haven't even left my home yet so I will stop here. But I hope to post at least moderately interesting entries regularly throughout the semester so check back if you're interested in seeing some of my pictures.
